Pantone Colour of the Year

Pantone Colour of the Year

How to: Pantone Colour of the Year

2016 was the first year that two colours were announced as Pantone Color of the Year: Rose Gold and Serenity. Both colours evoke a calm, relaxing feeling, and are reminiscent of alpenglow, the rosy light of the setting, or rising sun on our mountains.

As proud supporters of the LGBTQ community, Greenscape was especially excited to see two colours that represent gender equality. Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute explains the 2016 colours are “coinciding with societal movements toward gender equality and fluidity”.
